WINEMAKER DINNER TUESDAY MAY 13TH FEATURING ARGENTINAS BEST
Please join us Tuesday May 13th for a wonderful 5-course dinner paired with the wines of Mil Piedras Winery. This boutique winery from Mendoza, Argentina, produces full flavored wines with great depth and wonderful purity. Considered to have one of the best winemaking teams in Argentina led by renowned enologist Angel Mendoza, who was responsible for Trapiche's success.
Tickets are $59 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Price includes all wine and food.
The event will commence as follows:
*6.30 pm arrival for canapis and 2007 Mil Piedras Estate Rose
*7 pm sit down dinner:
Course 1: Baby Greens tossed in a Ver Jus Vinaigrette with Dried Apricots, Oranges and Toasted Almonds,
Paired with 2007 Mil Piedras Viognier
Course 2: Grilled Sterling Salmon over Toasted Israeli Cous-Cous, Melted Leeks, Grilled Radicchio,
Paired with 2006 Mil Piedras Sangiovese
Course 3: Pan Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Quinoa Grain, Cherry Tomatoes, Brown Butter Sauce,
Paired with 2006 Mil Piedras Malbec & 2006 Mil Piedras Merlot
Course 4: Grilled 10oz. Ribeye, Scallion Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Asparagus, Hoisin-Red Wine Sauce,
Paired with their Flagship 2005 Benvenuto De La Serna (60% Malbec & 40% Merlot)
Course 5: Warm Chocolate Decadence Cake with Tahitian Vanilla Bean Gelato

Remember your mother told you nothing in life was free? Well she obviously has never been to Indigo Restaurant & Bar where they are redefining food and wine pairing. Indigo introduces THE ULTIMATE WINE DINNER that allows a guest to select any appetizer, any entree (excluding specials), and any dessert from Chef Michael Whang's acclaimed New American menu. There is no catch. We will be pouring selected wines by the glass freely throughout your entire dining experience. Care to start with Fantinel Prosecco Brut Sparkling during your appetizer? No problem. Then switch to Riff Pinot Grigio and maybe finish with a glass of Peachy Canyon Zinfandel. Relax and enjoy!
The prix fixe wine dinner is served every evening (Tuesday to Sunday) from 8pm to close. Dinner is priced at $59 per person excluding tax and gratuity. The wines currently being poured are as follows:
