Design a menu offering creative but simple new
American cuisine, a comfortable and intimate atmosphere, top notch service
without the attitude, and do it all at an affordable price. That
is the basic formula behind Indigo Restaurant, the newest addition to San
Francisco's dining scene.
Indigo restaurant's interior design is the creation of Anna Veyna with Brian Laczko.
Greg Medow, proprietor, notes, "I wanted to create an atmosphere that had the feel of a
Manhattan lounge, but also the charm and warmth of San Francisco. Ms. Veyna brought the
elements of simplicity and elegance together by using Indigo colored
fabrics and textures." A distinctive bar, high ceilings, draped archways,
rich wood paneling and velvet covered banquettes create an inviting
interior that is...... Indigo - beautiful, inviting, warm and relaxing.
Indigo is located at 687 McAllister Street between Gough and Franklin in
San Francisco's Civic Center District. The restaurant is open 6 days a
week for dinner only, starting at 5pm, excluding Mondays. NOTE: we will be Closed Wednesday May 7th! We are open on Sundays when there is a performance in the neighborhood.
Parking lot suggestions: The Performing Arts Garage on Grove between Franklin and Gough or a Pay lot on the corner of Golden Gate and Franklin. For more information, please call
